Wayne Anthony’s Work with Bafta Ad Agency to Create the Perfect Look
Wayne Anthony fans may have noticed our work going out on television recently with the new adverts for short term loan company, Lending Stream.
Christopher Tembey plays Lenny, our ‘level headed aquatic guide’, talking to viewers about the financial packages available to all Lending Stream customers.
Wayne Anthony’s were approached by Uber Agency, based in Leeds, with a brief to give Lenny the perfect flat top. Uber Agency have worked previously with organisations such as The Baftas, Bentley and Superdrug to create award winning TV and digital content. After searching throughout the South of England, nobody could get the exact look the producer was after.
As a winner of over 50 hairdressing champion awards, and with 30 years of experience in the business, we knew that we had the experience to take on the challenge. Classical style in a classical atmosphere is what we do, and we love the results.

One of the most popular styles in America in the late 50s and early 60s, the flat-top comes from a time of turned up jeans, Harrington jackets and pin stripe suits.
The Flat Top is traditionally a high maintenance haircut, and has its roots in the military and athletics. We wanted to revitalise the look and provide a trendy, modern vibe to a classic style. With close trimmed sides and a longer top, we think Lenny brings the Flat-Top into the 21st century in a unique way.
